“Glass skin” is a look, not a single procedure. Clinics bundle different things under the name, which is why quoted prices vary so widely. Ranges observed across Seoul clinics in August 2026, widened in October 2026 to include partner clinic list prices (pending confirmation).
Clinic-by-clinic prices are being collected. Clinics that decline to publish a price are not listed. Until then the table above is the market range we observed.

What the days after actually look like
- Day 0Small injection bumps across the face if you had the injectable version. Redness for a few hours.
- Day 1–2Bumps settle. Skin looks plumper and reflects light more.
- Week 2–3Peak effect from a single session.
- Week 4–6Fades. This is a maintenance treatment, not a one-off fix.
Plan your trip around this. Clinics will book you whenever you ask; they will not reorganise your holiday for you.
Before and after

AfterEvery pair here was photographed on one day. The “after” shot is from the same visit, minutes after the treatment — not weeks or months later. That is fine for filler, where the result is immediate, and close to meaningless for a lifting device or a laser, where the result arrives at two to three months. Each photograph below says which it is. We put this at the top rather than in a footnote because it changes how you should read every image on this page.
Supplied by LUNN Dermatology Clinic (룬피부과의원) and published on the clinic's own site. Shot under the same lighting and angle, close-cropped so no face is fully visible — where that was not true of a pair, it says so on the photograph. Not retouched: we resized both halves identically and did nothing else. Results vary between people; these are individual cases, not what you should expect.
Still being confirmed: whether each patient's written consent covers publication on a site outside Korea. The clinic published these on its own Korean site with consent, and we are collecting the addendum that names this site. Any photograph whose patient withdraws comes down the same day, backups included.
Who should not have this
- You expect a permanent change. The effect lasts weeks, not months.
- You booked an aqua peel expecting glass skin. Cleansing facials do not produce it — ask specifically whether anything is being injected.
- You have active inflamed acne. Treat that first; injecting through it spreads bacteria.
- Your real concern is texture or scarring. Rejuran or a fractional laser addresses that; a hydrating booster does not.
- A clinic offers a ten-session package on your first visit. Do one and see how your skin responds.
Questions people actually ask
What is a Korean glass skin facial?
Usually a skin booster injection — hyaluronic acid or polynucleotide placed just under the surface so skin holds water and reflects light. Clinics also sell cleansing facials under the same name, which is not the same thing.
How much does it cost in Korea?
$35–$240 for a single injectable session, $30–$150 for an aqua peel. A three-session programme runs $280–$620.
How long does it last?
Four to six weeks from one session. It is maintenance, which is why Koreans book it monthly rather than once.
Can I get it done the day before an event?
No. Injection bumps take a day or two to settle. Book three to four days ahead at minimum.
Is it the same as a hydrafacial?
No. A hydrafacial cleans and hydrates the surface. The glass-skin effect comes from placing hydrating material into the skin. Ask which one you are being sold.
What is the difference from Rejuran?
Rejuran repairs and thickens over a course of sessions. A water-shine booster hydrates for a few weeks. Different jobs, often done together.
