Clinics in Seoul
We list 4 clinics, and on every one of them we also print what we could not confirm. That second list is the useful one. A clinic page that answers every question is a clinic page that guessed at some of them.
The clinics
- Aurora Clinic (오로라의원)GangnamHair transplant, and surgery for excessive underarm sweating and odour.
- LUNN Dermatology Clinic (룬피부과의원)CheongdamNon-surgical dermatology: lifting devices, injectables, and laser work for pigment and texture. No surgery.
- Clear Seoul Eye Clinic (클리어서울안과의원)SeochoVision correction (SMILE, LASIK, LASEK, implantable lenses), cataract and presbyopia surgery, glaucoma and dry eye.
- Boncure Korean Medicine Clinic (본큐어한의원)GangnamKorean medicine for tinnitus, dizziness, facial palsy, TMJ disorder, and spinal and postural problems. Not an aesthetic clinic.
What each clinic page shows
- Published prices, dated, with the source named — clinic-supplied or public filing.
- Which specialty board the doctor is certified by, or a plain statement that we could not confirm it. In Korea any licensed physician may perform cosmetic procedures regardless of their board, so this is worth reading rather than assuming.
- The devices and products the clinic actually has, checked against its own site. A clinic can advertise a treatment name while running a different machine, and the machine is most of the result.
- Before-and-after photographs with the clinic named, how long after the treatment they were taken, and whether the two shots were framed the same way. Where we do not have one of those, we say so beside the photograph.
- Language support at the desk: a fluent coordinator, an interpreter on call, or a translation app. These are not the same thing.
- Aggregate rating and review count, attributed. We do not reproduce individual reviews.
Listing a clinic
If you run a clinic and want to be listed, email ourmarketingad@gmail.com. Listing requires publishing a price. We will also ask for the things every page above marks as unconfirmed — board certification, how far ahead you need to book, and whether foreign patients pay what local patients pay.
