THE SEARCH TERM IS NOT THE DECISION
“Best clinic” is usually the last question, not the first.
English-language searches mix different intentions. “Korean skin booster” can mean an injectable treatment or a topical product. “Korean plastic surgery” can mean costs, before-and-after images, a surgeon, a clinic or an entire travel package.
COMEDI separates those questions before producing a shortlist. The result is a discussion map, not a diagnosis or an automatic treatment recommendation.
Organise my question →ONE CONCERN / FIVE POSSIBLE ROUTES
Compare the method before comparing clinic names.
Treatment names below are research starting points, not personal recommendations.
Wait, observe or do less
A concern does not automatically require a clinic. Record when it appears, what has changed and what outcome would make an intervention worthwhile.
Non-medical care
Skincare, makeup, styling, hair and daily habits may answer part of the visual question without a procedure or recovery period.
Skin-quality treatments
Laser and injectable skin-quality routes differ in purpose, evidence, discomfort, recovery and repeat schedule. A product name alone does not explain those differences.
Energy, injectables and contour
Ask whether the visible concern comes mainly from skin, fat, muscle, support or structure before comparing devices, neuromodulators or fillers.
Plastic surgery consultation
A useful surgical comparison covers surgeon role, function, technique, anaesthesia, recovery, revision terms and the non-surgical or no-action alternative.
HOW TO CHOOSE A KOREAN CLINIC
Five checks that matter more than review count.
Save the evidence beside the shortlist so each clinic can be compared on the same terms.
- 01
Foreign-patient registration
Confirm that the medical institution is registered to treat foreign patients. Registration and additional accreditation are different signals, so record which one the clinic actually holds.
- 02
Named clinician and role
Write down who examines you, who performs the procedure, their relevant specialist status and whether that person can change on the day.
- 03
Itemised terms
Ask for the total scope in writing: clinician fee, anaesthesia, products or device, consumables, medication, follow-up and possible additions.
- 04
Language at consent and aftercare
A marketing coordinator, consultation interpreter and emergency contact are not the same role. Confirm which support is available at each point.
- 05
Recovery that fits the trip
Plan backwards from the review appointment, suture or splint removal, swelling, sun exposure, flight timing and what happens after you leave Korea.
Official starting point: Medical Korea explains the foreign-patient registration system and advises visitors to confirm a clinic’s registration certificate.

PLAIN ANSWERS
Questions international visitors ask first.
01How do I choose a skin or plastic surgery clinic in Seoul?+
Start with the concern and the type of change you want, then compare registered clinics on the named clinician, written price scope, relevant experience, language support, recovery and aftercare. Do not choose from review count or one before-and-after image alone.
02Is South Korea a good place for cosmetic treatment?+
Seoul offers high procedure volume and many specialised clinics, but country reputation does not establish that a particular clinic or treatment is right for you. Verify the institution, clinician, terms and follow-up for the exact service you are considering.
03How much does plastic surgery cost in Korea?+
The useful answer depends on the operation, surgeon, anaesthesia, materials, revision status and included follow-up. Use an itemised range rather than one headline price and confirm the final terms in writing before paying a deposit.
04What is a Korean skin booster?+
The phrase is used for several different injectable products and, in English search results, sometimes for topical skincare. Ask for the exact product, approved use, quantity, injection method, intended change, recovery and repeat schedule.
05Can COMEDI tell me which treatment I need?+
No. COMEDI organises your concern, compares possible routes and helps you prepare questions and logistics. Diagnosis, clinical suitability and treatment decisions belong to qualified treating clinicians.
06How does COMEDI make money?+
A clinic may pay a referral or coordination fee when a patient introduced by COMEDI books. Any applicable relationship is disclosed before booking and does not replace the clinic's own informed-consent process.
WHO / HOW / WHY
Trust should be checkable outside this page.
COMEDI is operated by 아워마케팅 (Our Marketing), registered in Korea as a foreign-patient attraction business. Registration is a legal operating signal, not proof that every clinic or treatment is suitable.
Prices, credentials and clinical statements must carry a source, verification date and reviewer status. Pages that are still awaiting those checks remain outside public indexing.
