Ranges observed across Seoul clinics in August 2026, widened in October 2026 to include partner clinic list prices (pending their confirmation). The low ends are Korean-made toxins and fillers. The biggest price variable is the product brand and the number of units, not the clinic.
Clinic-by-clinic prices are being collected. Clinics that decline to publish a price are not listed. Until then the table above is the market range we observed.
Botox in Korea: why the cheapest quote is usually the most expensive
Units are what you are actually buying, lip filler and a Sunday flight do not mix, and jaw slimming will not show before you leave.
One clinic quoted half what the others did.
Can I get lip filler two days before I fly?
I want the jaw thing. Will it show by Friday?
Botox and filler is the treatment foreigners search for most in Korea — 10,520 of the search queries we collected point at it, more than any other category.
It is also the one where the price on the page tells you the least.
A clinic quoting far below everyone else is almost never giving you a better deal.
It is giving you fewer units.
Units are the thing you are buying; the injection itself is nearly free.
Why does the cheapest quote cost the most?
Botox is priced two ways in Seoul and the two look identical on a price list.
Some clinics quote per area — forehead, glabella, crow’s feet — and some quote per unit.
An area quote does not say how many units go into it, and the same forehead can reasonably take anywhere from ten to thirty.
This is also why the second session so often costs more than the first.
The introductory price was a smaller dose.
Ask two things before you agree: which product, and how many units.
A clinic that answers both without hesitating is quoting you honestly.
Areas are marketing.
Units are the product.
Is Korean botox the same as what I get at home?
Korea uses both imported brands and domestically produced toxins made to the same regulatory standard.
Domestic is cheaper per unit and is what most local patients get.
Imported brands cost more and some people prefer them; both are legitimate.
What matters is that you know which one you are getting, because it changes the unit price and therefore what a quote means.
“Premium toxin” is not a product name.
Ask for the brand.
Can you have lip filler and fly home two days later?
You can.
You will be swollen in every photograph of the trip.
Lips swell more than anywhere else on the face, and the two or three days of looking overdone are not the result — they are the wait for it.
- Day 0–1
Noticeably swollen. Lips look considerably bigger than what you asked for.
- Day 2–3
Still full, sometimes bruised at the injection points. This is where most people panic.
- Day 4–7
Settling. Shape becomes recognisable.
- Week 2
Settled. This is the real result and the point at which to judge it.
Book filler for the start of the trip, not the end. Botox is the opposite — nothing shows by the next morning, so it fits the last day fine.
Will jaw botox show before you leave?
No.
Masseter slimming builds over four to six weeks and there is nothing to see in the first fortnight.
If a clinic implies you will look different by Friday, they are selling you something the treatment does not do.
That does not make it a bad thing to have done here — the price difference is real and the result arrives whether you are in Seoul or at home.
Just do not book the trip around seeing it.
What should stop you booking?
Pregnancy or breastfeeding.
A flight home inside two days if you want lips.
And one that sounds soft but matters: if you cannot name what actually bothers you and the clinic proposes five areas, start with one.
More can always be added on the next trip; none of it can be removed.
If you want a permanent change to your nose, filler is temporary and repeated filler makes later surgery harder.
That is a conversation to have before the first syringe, not after the third.
Will you look frozen?
That is a dosing decision, not a country.
Say you want movement kept and ask them to start conservative.
More can be added at a review appointment; none can be taken out.
Clinics in Seoul are used to this request and it is not a difficult one.
Is it genuinely cheaper than at home?
Yes, and by more than most treatments.
The same three-area upper-face session runs $400 to $700 in the United States against $110 to $260 here.
Lip filler is $180 to $320 per 1cc against roughly double that in the US and UK.
The saving is large enough that people genuinely do add it to a trip they were taking anyway.
It is not, on its own, large enough to justify the flight.
Botox and fillers vs. the alternatives
| Option | What it is | Best for | Seoul price |
|---|---|---|---|
| Botox | Botulinum toxin | Movement lines, jaw slimming | $15–$260 |
| Filler | Hyaluronic acid | Volume, shape, static folds | $65–$380 |
| Skin botox | Diluted toxin | Pores, oil, fine texture | $30–$210 |
| Thread lift | PDO threads | Sagging that filler cannot fix | $400–$1,200 |
What the days after actually look like
- Botox, day 0–2Small raised bumps at the injection points for a few hours. Occasional mild headache. Nothing visible by the next morning.
- Botox, week 1–2The effect appears. Judge it here, not on day two.
- Filler, day 0–3Swelling, sometimes bruising. Lips swell more than anywhere else — expect two or three days of looking overdone.
- Filler, week 2Settled. This is the real result.
- Month 3–6Botox wears off. Filler lasts 6–12 months depending on the area.
Plan your trip around this. Clinics will book you whenever you ask; they will not reorganise your holiday for you.
Before and after

AfterEvery pair here was photographed on one day. The “after” shot is from the same visit, minutes after the treatment — not weeks or months later. That is fine for filler, where the result is immediate, and close to meaningless for a lifting device or a laser, where the result arrives at two to three months. Each photograph below says which it is. We put this at the top rather than in a footnote because it changes how you should read every image on this page.
Supplied by LUNN Dermatology Clinic (룬피부과의원) and published on the clinic's own site. Shot under the same lighting and angle, close-cropped so no face is fully visible — where that was not true of a pair, it says so on the photograph. Not retouched: we resized both halves identically and did nothing else. Results vary between people; these are individual cases, not what you should expect.
Still being confirmed: whether each patient's written consent covers publication on a site outside Korea. The clinic published these on its own Korean site with consent, and we are collecting the addendum that names this site. Any photograph whose patient withdraws comes down the same day, backups included.
Who should not have this
- You fly home in two days and want lip filler. You will be swollen in every photo of the trip.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You want jaw botox to show on this trip. Masseter slimming takes four to six weeks.
- A clinic quotes far below everyone else. Ask which product and how many units — a low price usually means fewer units, not a better deal.
- You want a permanent nose change. Filler is temporary, and repeated filler makes later surgery harder.
- You cannot name what bothers you and the clinic proposes five areas. Start with one.
Questions people actually ask
How much is botox in Korea?
About $15–$35 for one area with a Korean toxin at many clinics, up to about $110 for imported brands; $110–$260 for the three upper-face areas together. Ask for brand and units.
Is Korean botox the same as what I get at home?
Korea uses both imported brands and domestic toxins made to the same standard. Ask which one you are getting and how many units — units are what you are actually buying.
How much is lip filler in Korea?
About $65–$105 per 1cc for Korean HA fillers and $180–$320 for imported brands. Ask for the brand name rather than accepting “premium filler” as an answer.
Why is it cheaper than at home?
Volume and domestic toxin production. The same three-area session runs $400–$700 in the US. Units and product are comparable; the margin is not.
How long does it last?
Botox three to six months, often longer with repeat treatment. Filler six to twelve months — lips go faster than chin.
Can I have botox and filler in the same visit?
Yes, and most clinics do. Ask for filler first if you swell easily, so they can see the shape before botox changes how you move.
What is skin botox?
Heavily diluted toxin injected shallowly across the face, aimed at pores and oil rather than wrinkles. It is a separate treatment, priced separately.
Will I look frozen?
That is a dosing decision, not a country. Say you want movement kept and ask them to start conservative — more can be added, none can be removed.
