Rejuran vs Juvelook: which Korean skin booster is right for you

Rejuran is a salmon-derived PDRN booster used mainly for repair: thin, tired or post-acne skin. Juvelook is a PDLLA collagen stimulator that works gradually on firmness and fine texture. Both are courses, not one-off fixes, and many Seoul doctors use them together.

What readers ask

“Which one will make the biggest difference on a short trip?”
“Can I do both at once?”

Both names come up constantly when people plan a Korean skin trip, often in the same sentence. The good news is that the choice is less confusing than it looks once you know what each one is for.

It also helps to know that neither is a filler. Neither will add visible volume to a hollow, and neither replaces a lifting device for a softening jawline. They are skin-quality treatments: they work on how the skin looks and feels, gradually, over a course of sessions. Keeping that in mind protects you from being sold the wrong thing under the right name.

Compare by product and cc, not by the word “booster”. A clinic may also offer Rejuran HB or Rejuran Eye, which are different formulas at different prices, so make sure the name on your quote is the one you expect.

Which one suits my skin?

  1. 01

Skin feels thin, sensitive or scarred

Rejuran is usually the first conversation.

  2. 02

Skin feels loose or lacks bounce

    Juvelook is more often discussed.

  3. 03

    A bit of both

Doctors often combine or alternate them across a course.

  4. 04

    Mostly dull and dry

A water-shine booster may be the simpler starting point.

Is one session worth it on a short trip?

Be honest with yourself here. Both are courses. One session on its own does something, but much less than a full course, and you will spend a couple of days with visible bumps. If you can come back to Seoul, or continue at home, a first session makes more sense. If this is a one-time trip, ask the doctor directly whether it is worth it for your skin. A doctor who says “probably not, here is what I would do instead” is giving you good advice.

How should I plan the days?

Put boosters early in the trip so the bumps settle before you fly. Lifting devices, which leave little to see, can go at the end. Our planner does this ordering for you based on your dates.

“Choose by what your skin needs, then plan by how many sessions you can actually come back for.”

What about other boosters on the menu?

Seoul price lists also include water-shine hyaluronic acid injections, PDRN without the Rejuran brand, exosomes and newer collagen products. Water-shine is the simplest option for dryness and glow and wears off within weeks. Plain PDRN works on a similar idea to Rejuran at a different price. Exosomes are newer, with thinner evidence, so ask exactly what is in the vial and what the clinic has seen in practice. None of these is wrong, but they are not interchangeable, which is why the product name and volume should always be on your quote.

What should I ask before booking?

  • Which product exactly, and how many cc?
  • How many sessions would you recommend for my skin, and how far apart?
  • Is one session worth it if I cannot come back soon?
  • How long will the bumps be visible?
  • Can I continue the course at home, and with what?

The answers tell you more about the clinic than the price does. A doctor who adjusts the plan to your trip and your skin, rather than to a fixed package, is the kind we introduce you to.

Quick answers

Rejuran or Juvelook, which is better?

They do different jobs. Rejuran is usually chosen for repair; Juvelook for gradual firmness. Many doctors combine them.

How much is Rejuran in Korea?

Rejuran Healer 2cc is about $140–$250 per session in Seoul, from partner list prices pending confirmation.

How many sessions do I need?

Both are courses. Rejuran is commonly three to four sessions; your doctor sets the plan.

Can I fly after a skin booster?

Yes. Flying is fine; the bumps are a cosmetic issue for a few days, not a safety one.
