START WITH THE CONCERN

Which one is for what you actually want?

Most people arrive with a product name from social media. The doctors we work with start from the concern instead, and sometimes the answer is a different treatment, or none.

BEFORE AND AFTER

Real patients, with the clinic named

Read this first: every pair below was photographed on one day. The “after” is minutes after treatment. For injected volume that is the result. For devices, lasers and botox it is not; the label on each photo says which.

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT

What the days after look like

  1. Day 0–1

Injection bumps across the treated area. Visible. Redness.

  2. Day 2–3

Bumps flatten. Occasional bruising under the eyes.

  3. Week 3–4

Result from one session. Book the next here.

  4. Month 2–3

Collagen-stimulating products (Juvelook, PDLLA) reach their effect around now, not earlier.

HONESTLY

When we would tell you not to book it

  • You are in Korea for three days. Every booster is a course, and one session does very little.
  • A clinic will not tell you the product name or the volume. “Premium booster” is not an answer.
  • You want immediate volume. Boosters improve quality; fillers add volume. These are different jobs.
  • You have a salmon allergy and are being offered a PDRN product such as Rejuran.
  • You are being sold exosomes as proven. It is a newer category with thinner evidence — that may be fine, but you should be told.

HOW WE CHOOSE YOUR CLINIC

We vet the clinics first.
Then we match you to the doctor.

Seoul has hundreds of clinics selling skin boosters. We work with a short list that meets five conditions, and introduce you to the one or two doctors who fit your concern, your dates and your budget.

  1. 01

The consulting doctor is the treating doctor

We ask every clinic who actually holds the needle. A clinic that hands you to someone else after the consultation does not make our list.

  2. 02

Product, device and dose are named

“Premium booster” is not an answer. We only work with clinics that tell you the brand, the volume and the machine before you sit in the chair.

  3. 03

A written quote, per unit or per cc

So you can compare two clinics on the same scope rather than two totals that measure different things.

  4. 04

A doctor willing to say “not this”

We listen for it in consultations we sit in on. A clinic that agrees to everything is selling, not advising.

  5. 05

Someone to contact after you fly home

A named contact and channel for follow-up questions, agreed before treatment rather than discovered after.

QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK

Skin boosters: the short answers

How much are skin boosters in Korea?

$35–$420 per session depending on the product. A basic water-shine booster is the cheapest; exosomes the most expensive.

Which skin booster should I get?

It depends on the concern. Rejuran for repair and thin skin, Profhilo for dehydration and laxity, Juvelook for gradual collagen. A clinic that recommends the same product to everyone is selling stock, not treatment.

How many sessions do I need?

Three for most products, spaced two to four weeks. One session on a short trip is rarely worth the money.

What is the downtime?

One to three days of visible injection bumps. Under-eye areas bruise more.

Are exosomes worth it?

They are newer with less published evidence than PDRN or HA. Some clinics report good results. Ask what the clinic has actually seen, and be sceptical of a large price premium on that basis alone.

Can I combine boosters with laser?

Commonly yes, usually laser first and injection after, or spaced by several days. Ask rather than assume — order matters.
