Single eyelids, thin skin, little fat
Usually discussedNon-incisional (suture) method
TREATMENT GUIDE · Eye surgery
The method depends on your eyelid skin, fat and muscle strength, not on the look you saved on your phone. Plan your stay around stitch removal and a follow-up visit, which most surgeons want before you fly. Seoul price: $715–$1,215.
START WITH THE CONCERN
Most people arrive with a product name from social media. The doctors we work with start from the concern instead, and sometimes the answer is a different treatment, or none.

PRICES
List prices from partner clinics, pending their final confirmation. Converted at about ₩1,400 to the dollar. Surgical prices exclude 10% VAT. Since January 2026 foreign patients can no longer claim a VAT refund on cosmetic treatment.
BEFORE AND AFTER
Photographs for this treatment are being added. Each will name the clinic, how long after treatment it was taken, and whether lighting matched.
RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
Swelling and possible bruising, strongest on days 1–2. Cold compresses and sleeping with your head raised help. Sunglasses are useful.
Stitch removal and a check-up for incision methods, commonly in this window. Suture methods may not need removal; your surgeon decides.
Commonly about a week after surgery, once stitches are out and the surgeon has seen you. Ask for the exact earliest date before booking flights.
Most swelling settles within weeks, but incision lines and crease shape keep softening for several months. Judge the result later, not in week two.
HONESTLY
HOW WE CHOOSE YOUR CLINIC
Seoul has hundreds of clinics selling Double eyelid surgery. We work with a short list that meets five conditions, and introduce you to the one or two doctors who fit your concern, your dates and your budget.
We ask every clinic who actually holds the needle. A clinic that hands you to someone else after the consultation does not make our list.
“Premium booster” is not an answer. We only work with clinics that tell you the brand, the volume and the machine before you sit in the chair.
So you can compare two clinics on the same scope rather than two totals that measure different things.
We listen for it in consultations we sit in on. A clinic that agrees to everything is selling, not advising.
A named contact and channel for follow-up questions, agreed before treatment rather than discovered after.
Photo, board, case focus and languages, added once consent is confirmed.

We do not publish a ranking, and placement is not for sale. If a clinic pays us a referral fee, we tell you before you book. Medical decisions stay with your doctor.
HOW IT WORKS
Your concern, what you want to keep, your dates and your budget. No photo required.
From clinics we have already vetted, chosen for your concern and your timeline, not whoever pays most.
Same scope, per unit or per cc, with anything not included listed.
An interpreter in the consultation room, and the option to walk away.
We stay the contact for practical questions. Medical follow-up stays with your doctor.
QUESTIONS PEOPLE ACTUALLY ASK
On one surgical price list we use: about $715 for the suture method, $1,000 for partial incision and $1,145 for full incision, VAT 10% excluded. Ptosis correction is about $1,070–$1,215, or about $430 added to a double eyelid operation.
Incision is generally more durable, and suture methods can loosen over time, especially on thicker lids. The trade-off is a longer recovery and a scar line. Your surgeon should explain which fits your lids.
Commonly about a week for incision methods, to allow stitch removal and a check-up. Add a day or two of buffer and confirm with your surgeon.
Yes, revision is usually harder than the first operation because of scar tissue and removed skin. That is why the first plan matters more than the price.
Usually not until after stitch removal, and eye makeup often later. Bring glasses. Your surgeon gives the exact dates.
