Heavy upper lids can come from excess skin, a dropped brow, lost volume or weak lid muscles, and each points to a different operation. The consultation should tell you which one is yours before talking about price. Seoul price: $1,070–$2,500.

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
What the days after look like
- Day 0–3
Swelling and bruising, often spreading down toward the cheeks. Cold compresses and a raised head help.
- Around day 5–7
Stitch removal and a check-up, commonly in this window.
- Flying home
Commonly about a week after surgery, after stitches are out. Forehead lifts may need longer. Confirm with your surgeon.
- Month 1–6
Scars along the crease or under the brow fade over months. Numbness near the incision can take time to return.

When we would tell you not to book it
- The heaviness is mostly a weak lid muscle (ptosis). Skin removal alone will not fix it.
- Your lids are already hollow. Removing skin or fat can make them look older.
- You have significant dry eye or eye disease you have not discussed.
- You cannot stay for stitch removal before flying.

Upper eyelid and brow lift: the short answers
How much is upper eyelid surgery in Korea?
On one surgical price list we use: about $1,070 for upper blepharoplasty, $1,285 for a sub-brow lift, $2,000 for sunken lid restoration and $2,500 for a forehead lift, VAT 10% excluded.
Upper blepharoplasty or sub-brow lift?
Blepharoplasty works along the crease and can change its shape. A sub-brow lift removes skin just below the brow and tends to keep your existing crease. Which suits you depends on where the excess sits.
Will the scar show?
The scar sits in the crease or just under the brow and usually fades over months. Healing varies between people.
How many days should I stay?
Commonly about a week, to allow stitch removal and a check. Add a buffer day and confirm with your surgeon.
