Laser hair removal in Korea: is it worth starting on a trip?
Medical lasers reduce hair by targeting follicles in their growth phase, which is why it takes a series of sessions weeks apart. Prices in Seoul are low per session, but one visit on a trip reduces hair only partly. Seoul price: $15–$140.

Redness and small bumps around follicles for a few hours.

Skin settles. Avoid hot baths, saunas and strong sun.

Treated hairs shed. Regrowth is usually finer, and the next session follows.

Laser hair removal: the short answers
How much is laser hair removal in Korea?
Per session, roughly $15 for women's underarms, $85 for a full face, and $90–$140 for a Brazilian.
Is one session on a trip worth it?
It reduces some hair, but lasting results need repeated sessions. It makes most sense if you visit Korea regularly or can continue at home.
Should I shave before?
Usually yes, shave a day before. Do not wax or pluck for several weeks, since the laser needs the root.
Does it work on dark skin?
Often yes with the right laser and settings, but the risk of burns or temporary darkening is higher. Ask which laser and whether a test spot is done.
Does it hurt?
It feels like quick snaps with cooling. Thick hair areas such as beard or Brazilian feel stronger.
