Published price lists of Seoul clinics, August–October 2026, converted at about ₩1,400 to the dollar. Some lists include 10% VAT and some do not, so ask which. Since January 2026 foreign patients can no longer claim a VAT refund on cosmetic treatment.

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
What the days after look like
- Day 0
Redness and mild swelling for a few hours. After Ultherapy the jawline can feel tender to the touch. You can go out the same evening.
- Day 1–7
Occasional tenderness or slight numbness along the jaw. Nothing most people would notice.
- Week 4–12
Tightening builds as collagen remodels. Judge it at two to three months, not in the mirror on day one.
- Month 6–12
The effect fades gradually. Most people repeat about once a year.
HONESTLY
When we would tell you not to book it
- Your main concern is heavy sagging or loose neck skin. Devices tighten; they do not remove excess skin. That is a surgical consultation.
- You are quoted a price without a shot count. The shot count is what you are buying.
- The clinic cannot say whether it is genuine Ultherapy or another HIFU machine. Both exist, and the price and depth differ.
- You are pregnant, or have a pacemaker or metal implants near the treatment area. Tell the clinic before anything else.
- You expect the full result before your flight home. What you see that day is not the result.

Seoul has hundreds of clinics selling Ultherapy and Thermage. We work with a short list that meets five conditions, and introduce you to the one or two doctors who fit your concern, your dates and your budget.

We ask every clinic who actually holds the needle. A clinic that hands you to someone else after the consultation does not make our list.

“Premium booster” is not an answer. We only work with clinics that tell you the brand, the volume and the machine before you sit in the chair.

A written quote, per unit or per cc
So you can compare two clinics on the same scope rather than two totals that measure different things.

We listen for it in consultations we sit in on. A clinic that agrees to everything is selling, not advising.

How much is Ultherapy in Korea?
Ultherapy Prime runs about $215–$385 per 100 shots in Seoul. A lower-face plan of 300 shots is about $605–$1,095, and a 600-shot full face $1,215–$2,120.
How much is Thermage in Korea?
Thermage FLX is about $1,350–$1,855 for a 600-shot full-face session. Compare clinics on the same shot count and the same tip.
Ultherapy or Thermage?
They work at different depths. Ultherapy is focused ultrasound reaching the SMAS layer, used mainly for lift along the jaw. Thermage heats the dermis for tightening and texture. Many people have both; the doctor decides by where the laxity starts.
Can I fly right after?
Yes. There is no meaningful downtime, which is why these often go on the last days of a trip.
First day or last day of my trip?
Either works, so keep your first days for treatments that leave visible marks, and put lifting near the end.
Do foreign patients pay more?
Some clinics publish one list for everyone. Ask for the shot count and the price in writing before the consultation, and you will see quickly.
Can I still get a VAT refund?
No. The refund for foreign patients on cosmetic treatment ended in January 2026.
