Onda lifting in Korea: tightening, contouring, or neither for you?
Onda uses microwave energy aimed at the fat layer and skin, used for contouring areas like the jawline and cheeks and for mild tightening. It suits a soft, full lower face; it is not for people who are already thin there. Seoul price: $70–$500.

- Your face is already thin or hollow in the cheeks. Reducing volume can make sagging look worse.
- The quote shows a total without the kJ (energy) and areas. Ask for both in writing.
- You expect a large change like liposuction from one session.
- You have metal implants in the area or are pregnant. Tell the clinic first.

How much is Onda lifting in Korea?
In Seoul, about $70 for one area at 10kJ, $135–$145 for 20kJ, $270 for 40kJ, $345–$500 for 60kJ, and $415 for 80kJ.
What does kJ mean on an Onda quote?
It is the total energy delivered. More kJ covers more area or more passes. Compare clinics on the same kJ and the same areas.
Onda or Ultherapy?
Onda is mainly used for contour and fat-layer work; Ultherapy for lifting at the SMAS layer. Some people combine them. Your doctor decides based on whether the issue is volume or laxity.
Is Onda painful?
Most people feel warmth rather than sharp pain, with cooling built in, but sensitivity varies.
Can I fly after Onda?
Usually yes; visible downtime is minimal.
