A pre-wedding skin plan in Seoul: a six-month timeline

Start early and finish quietly. Treatments that build slowly or leave marks belong months before the wedding. The last few weeks are for gentle, familiar treatments only. Nothing new in the final fortnight.

What readers ask

“I can only come to Seoul once before the wedding. When should that be?”
“Can I get filler the week before?”

Why plan six months ahead?

Because the treatments people want most for wedding skin take time. Skin boosters are usually a course. Collagen-building lifting devices take two to three months to show. Pigment and scar work may need more than one session and a careful month of sun protection afterwards. Six months gives you room to try, recover and adjust.

A sample timeline to discuss with your doctor

What if you can only visit Seoul once?

Then come around three to six months before. That allows slow-building treatments to mature and gives any marks time to fade. Choose one or two treatments that match your main concern rather than everything at once, and ask the doctor what you can continue with at home.

  1. 01

    Name the concern

Texture, glow, jawline, pigment or lines. One or two, not five.

  2. 02

    Book the consultation first

Let the doctor confirm what suits you before you commit to a package.

  3. 03

Put marks early in the trip

Treatments that leave marks go on the first treatment day; devices with little downtime go last.

  4. 04

    Ask for a home plan

Sunscreen, simple skincare and what to avoid before the wedding.

When should botox and filler happen?

Botox takes days to start working and a week or two to settle, so it is usually done well before the date, and ideally by someone who has treated you before. Filler can swell and bruise for several days. If you have never had filler, a wedding countdown is not the time to find out how your face responds.

“The best wedding skin plan is the one that ends with nothing to worry about.”

What about budget?

A six-month plan spreads cost, but courses add up. Ask for written quotes per session and per unit, and decide which treatments matter most if the budget is fixed. Since January 2026 foreign patients can no longer claim a VAT refund on cosmetic treatment, so build that into your sums.

What are the honest limits?

This is a sample timeline, not a treatment plan. Your doctor decides what suits your skin and when. Results vary, and some concerns improve less than hoped in the time available.

Quick answers

Can I get filler the week before my wedding?

It is not a good idea, especially if you have never had it. Swelling and bruising can last several days.

When should I have Rejuran before a wedding?

It is usually a course of sessions weeks apart, so start several months before. Discuss timing with your doctor.

Can I do everything in one trip?

You can do a lot, but stacking many treatments raises the chance of irritation and visible downtime. One or two well-chosen treatments usually make more sense.
