Wrinkle botox in Korea: which toxin, how many units, and why the cheapest quote is not the same treatment
Botox relaxes the muscles that crease the forehead, the frown area and the outer eyes. In Seoul the price is set mostly by the toxin brand and the number of units, so ask for both in writing before comparing clinics. Seoul price: $15–$105.

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
What the days after look like
- Day 0
Small raised bumps at each injection point for a few hours. Avoid pressing or massaging the area and skip the sauna that day.
- Day 2–4
The effect begins. Nothing much to see yet, which is normal.
- Week 1–2
Full effect. This is when to judge the result, usually after you are home.
- Month 3–6
Movement gradually returns. Repeat when you want to.

When we would tell you not to book it
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- A quote names no brand and no units. You cannot compare it with anything.
- You want to see the result before a photo shoot in two days. Botox needs about a week or more.
- You have a neuromuscular condition or are on medication you have not told the doctor about.

Wrinkle botox: the short answers
How much is wrinkle botox in Korea?
Per area in Seoul: about $15–$35 with a Korean toxin, $25–$70 with Coretox, $35–$70 with Xeomin and $55–$105 with Allergan Botox.
Korean toxin or Allergan?
All are approved botulinum toxins. They differ in brand, price and formulation; Coretox and Xeomin are made with fewer accessory proteins, which some people choose if they have repeated treatment for years. Pick the brand, then compare clinics on that brand and the same units.
Will I look frozen?
That depends on dose and placement, not the country. Ask the doctor to start conservatively; more can be added later, but none can be taken out.
Can I fly after botox?
Yes. There is no visible downtime beyond a few hours of small bumps.
What should I ask before paying?
The brand, the number of units per area, and whether VAT is included. Get it in writing.
