What the days after look like
- Day 0–3
Swelling, tenderness and sometimes bruising. Some products ask you to massage the area for several days; follow the clinic's instructions.
- Week 1–2
Initial swelling fades and it can look as if little has changed. That is expected.
- Month 1–3
Collagen builds and firmness or volume appear gradually. This is when to judge it.

- You need to see the result before you fly home.
- You cannot come back, or arrange follow-up, for a second session if one is recommended.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have an active infection or inflammation in the area.
- You want something that can be easily dissolved later. Unlike HA filler, these generally cannot be.

How much are Sculptra, Radiesse and Juvelook Volume in Korea?
In Seoul: Juvelook Volume about $70 for 1cc, $250 for 4cc and $390 for 8cc; Sculptra about $500 per vial; Radiesse about $705–$895 per vial.
How are they different from HA filler?
HA filler gives shape on the day and can usually be dissolved. Collagen stimulators work through your own collagen over months, look more gradual, and generally cannot be dissolved.
Which one should I choose?
It depends on the area, how much volume you need and how quickly. Ask the doctor why they suggest a specific product, and how many cc or vials for your plan.
Are there risks?
Swelling and bruising are common. Small lumps or nodules can occur, and like any injectable a rare blood-vessel problem is possible, so choose a doctor experienced with the specific product.
