Fat grafting in Korea: how much stays, how many sessions, and where it works
Fat is taken from your own body and moved to hollow areas. Part of it is reabsorbed, so some people need a second session, and the result is judged after a few months. Seoul price: $715–$2,500.

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
What the days after look like
- Day 0
Sedation or general anaesthesia. Harvest site (often thighs or abdomen) is sore and bruised; face is swollen.
- Day 3–7
Swelling peaks then settles. Follow-up check before you fly.
- Week 2–4
Most visible swelling gone. Avoid pressing or massaging the grafted area unless told to.
- Month 3–6
What remains now tends to stay. This is when a second session is discussed.

Fat grafting: the short answers
How much is fat grafting in Korea?
On the list we use: one area about $710, upper eyelid hollows about $1,070, neck lines about $1,430, full face about $1,790, breast or buttocks about $2,140 to $2,500. Prices exclude 10% VAT.
How much of the fat survives?
It varies by person, area and technique. Ask the surgeon what they see in their own patients and when they would suggest a second session.
Fat or filler?
Fat uses your own tissue and can last, but needs surgery and has less predictable survival. Filler is quicker and adjustable but temporary.
How long should I stay?
Plan around a week so the surgeon can check you before you fly.
