Thermage FLX in Korea: is it the right tightening treatment for your skin?

RECOVERY AND YOUR FLIGHT
What the days after look like
- Day 0
Warmth and mild redness for a few hours. Make-up usually the same day.
- Day 1–3
Occasional slight swelling or tenderness. Most people go sightseeing as normal.
- Week 4–12
Tightening builds gradually as collagen remodels. Judge it at two to three months.
- Month 6–12
The effect fades slowly. Your doctor will suggest when to repeat.

When we would tell you not to book it
- Your main concern is heavy sagging or loose neck skin. A device cannot remove excess skin; that is a surgical consultation.
- The quote does not state the shot count and the tip. Those are what you are buying.
- You have a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device. Tell the clinic first; RF may not be suitable.
- You are pregnant.
- You expect a visible lift before your flight home. What you see on the day is not the result.

How much is Thermage in Korea?
Thermage FLX 600 shots is about $1,350–$1,855 in Seoul, and 300 shots about $780. Eye Thermage 450 shots is about $1,200–$1,570. Compare clinics on the same shot count and tip.
Thermage or Ultherapy?
Thermage heats the dermis for tightening and texture; Ultherapy reaches deeper, to the SMAS layer, mainly for lift along the jaw. Many people combine them. Your doctor decides by where the laxity starts.
Does Thermage hurt?
You feel bursts of heat. Numbing cream and cooling are used, and newer tips are more comfortable, but sensitivity varies. Tell the doctor during treatment if it is too much.
Can I fly right after Thermage?
Usually yes. Downtime is minimal, so it often goes on the last days of a trip.
How do I know it is genuine Thermage?
Ask to see the sealed tip opened in front of you and the shot count on the screen at the end.
