Pico toning in Korea: what it does for dull, uneven skin
Pico toning is a low-energy picosecond laser passed over the whole face to even out tone and fade diffuse pigment. It leaves almost nothing visible, and results come from a series rather than one session. Seoul price: $25–$565.

What the days after look like
- Day 0
Light redness for an hour or two. Makeup is usually fine the same day.
- Day 1–7
Nothing most people notice. Sunscreen every day matters more than anything else.
- After several sessions
Tone looks more even. Melasma can come back with sun or hormones, so maintenance is normal.

- A clinic promises to erase melasma permanently.

We ask every clinic who actually holds the needle. A clinic that hands you to someone else after the consultation does not make our list.

“Premium booster” is not an answer. We only work with clinics that tell you the brand, the volume and the machine before you sit in the chair.

So you can compare two clinics on the same scope rather than two totals that measure different things.

We listen for it in consultations we sit in on. A clinic that agrees to everything is selling, not advising.

Pico toning: the short answers
How much is pico toning in Korea?
About $25 for PicoPlus toning and $70 for PicoSure toning per session. Courses are cheaper per visit.
Can I do a course on a short trip?
Not fully. Sessions are one to two weeks apart, so a trip usually covers one or two. Ask whether you can continue toning at home.
Is it safe for melasma?
Gentle toning is commonly part of melasma care, but too much energy can make it worse. A doctor should confirm melasma first.
PicoSure or PicoPlus?
Both are picosecond lasers with different wavelengths and settings. The doctor chooses based on your pigment; the price gap reflects the machine.
