Pico lasers break tattoo ink into particles the body clears over weeks. Fading takes many sessions spaced well apart, so a trip to Korea can start removal but rarely finish it. Seoul price: $55–$140.

What the days after look like

Whitening, redness and swelling over the tattoo. A dressing is applied.
- Day 3–10
Possible blistering and crusting. Do not pick; keep it clean and covered.
- Week 6–8
Ink continues to fade as the body clears it. The next session is planned here.

Tattoo removal: the short answers
How much is tattoo removal in Korea?
Per session, roughly $55 for small lettering, $70 for an eyebrow or business-card size, and $140 for colour.
Why so many sessions?
Each session breaks up only part of the ink, and the body needs weeks to clear it. Professional, dense or coloured ink usually takes longer.
Will it leave a mark?
Sometimes a faint outline, lighter or darker skin, or texture change remains. Aftercare and spacing sessions properly lower the risk.
Can I fly after?
Yes, keep the area covered and clean. Doing it early in a trip lets you see how it heals before you leave.
